Federal “Rebate”

There is no federal rebate however some people refer to the Small Scale Technology Certificate incentive program (STCs) as a rebate. The incentive will usually appear on your solar quote as a discount. The discounted amount is dependent on the size of your solar system and you do not need to apply for it and there is no specific eligibility criteria beyond the solar system components used in your installation being on the Clean Energy Council approved list.
