Solar Victoria will re-open the portal for rebate applications on Thursday (5 Sep) at 9am. If you have a quote in the portal we recommend you are in front of a computer or smart phone at 9am Thursday to secure your rebate. If this isn’t an option, see if a family member or friend can help you. The important part is to secure your rebate, after that you will have 14 days to upload your documents and ID verification. Solar Victoria have advised that the rebate portal will NOT re-open today but they will email those with a quote in the portal to advise when it will reopen so please keep an eye on your inbox. Rockys will attempt to notify our customers with more information via SMS as it becomes available.

Thanks everyone for your patience. We’re currently fixing the technical issues experienced by customers this morning while using the Solar Victoria Portal.
We’re working to get the portal back online tomorrow and will let you know ASAP when applications will be open.
We know this has been frustrating and we sincerely apologise for this inconvenience.
Solar Victoria’s Rebate Portal has failed due to a technical issue this morning. Rebate applicants across the state have been unable to select a retailer when entering their details in the portal leaving thousands of Victorians frustrated and confused.
Rockys Solar contacted Solar Victoria this morning and were advised they are working on the issue and hope to have things back up and running shortly. Rockys are currently trying to assist all our applicants as best we can.
If you are able to, please keep trying every 5-10 minutes as occasionally some users are getting through.
If you are unable to access a rebate this morning, worst case scenario you will be able to apply when the portal re-opens again on Monday September 16th. Last week Solar Victoria announced changes to the program including making more rebates available and opening the portal twice a month instead of just once. The planned schedule is as follows:
