This past couple of weeks has been very busy for the team at Rockys Solar in Gippsland.
With the announcement of a “50% off the cost of solar” incentive by the Victorian Government under the newly formed body Solar Victoria, we have understandably had lots of new inquiries from people interested in installing solar on their homes, and our office staff have spent time giving our clients with existing solar quotes and scheduled solar installations the good news that they may be eligible to apply for a $2225 rebate on their solar system. To find out if you’re eligible for the Solar Victoria rebate, take a look at our recent post or contact us to find out more.
The status of federal rebates in the form of STCs has been up in the air in the past weeks as well, while the government seeks to drastically slash the value of STCs. To learn more about what STCs are and what this means, take a look at our recent post.
This week our team have been working hard to install several standard grid-connected solar systems at homes in various Gippsland locations as well as a residential off grid solar system in the Yarram area and a ground-mounted solar system at the Macalister Demonstration Farm in Riverslea, near Maffra.
Rockys Solar are also planning two free information sessions for people in the Sale and Traralgon areas where we will discuss options to help you save money on energy costs by installing solar and by finding the best value electricity retailer in Gippsland, we will have more information on these sessions soon.
